ABOUT ME

I always chase the happy and simple life. I'm busy with internship at the moment, but Im down to just getaway from everything and chill out, grab a beer, meet people at random places, and share random stories. I know many local spots in Manila, New York and Chicago, so if anyone's up for it, just hit me up!

PHILOSOPHY

Human connections and lived experiences are the best things in life. The best times I've had are when I get out of my comfort zone, expand the way I've seen things from my island home of the Philippines, and just see how wide and exciting different places and people can be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I got to know the couch surfing community in Chicago since Im currently doing hospital work here (Summer-Fall 2012). A friend, who is an experienced couch surfer, mentioned them to me and suggested I join. During Thanksgiving of 2012, I wasn't allowed to take a leave from the hospital so I went to the couch surfing orphan thanksgiving. They were a really chill, fun group and I was able to talk to a few of the Couchsurfing Chicago ambassadors. Now I understand what it's all about and want to get a more active role in the community.

Interests

I play sports at the water, surfing, swimming, watching music concerts, going on the subway and checking out the funky performers, looking at the local festivals, planning my next adventure and checking out the different local spots I want to see in the future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've played solo acoustic guitar in a crowd of around 1,000 people, and when I ended, the applause and the cheers made me feel so alive.

Ive swung across the longest Canyon in the world, tied to a bit of rope, and lived to tell the tale.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach english and tagalog very well. Not even kidding, like EXPERT x10 level.

I know basic acoustic guitar. And I know how to make a cast and give medicines if you're sick.

I want someone over who I can practice french with me. It's been a while since 2006 when I studied in France.
