We are a chilean couple, Cristian (33) & Carolina (29), together since 2007. Now happily wife and husband.

We recently moved to London where both are students during the 2016/2017 academic year (Cristián is pursuing a PhD in Social Policy and Carolina a MA in Journalism). Before coming to Europe we lived for a couple of years in Berkeley, California and then we went back to Chile for another 3 years.

Cristian is into public issues. He got a Master in Public Policy degree in 2012 and worked at the Chilean Government and as Consultant afterwards. He tries to keep working to raise the standard of life of those who are disadvantaged.

Carolina is a professional in the field of media and communications. She have worked for 6 years in television and radio in Chile and California as a reporter and content producer, covering topics such as politics, sports and culture.

We love travelling and exploring the world. We are very sociable and open minded. Always up to meet new people, share a couple of drinks, have a good conversation and learn or share a secret recipe. For us CS represent an opportunity to do all of the above local style.

Cristian was part of a group like this (Hospitality Club) since 2005. And we are CS members since 2008/2009. So far, we have hosted over 40 foreigners in Chile including surfers and friends. We have couchsurfed about 30 times. Only great experiences.

We were not active in CS for some years... Crazy and busy times for us. Now we realize we missed it a lot! and came back on track with CS!

兴趣

Cristián is a HUGE sport's fan. Loves watching almost any sport, but specially football! Actually went to the last two world cups.

Carolina shares this football passion, but this rivals with dancing. If the occasion permits, she never miss the opportunity.

Cristian loves funky music from the 70s pop an rock from the 80s. Anglo guy definately. Michael Jackson, Jamiroquai, Earth Wind & Fire and Kyle his favorites.

On the other hand, Carolina LOVES latin styles as salsa, bachata, cumbia, merengue, etc. Do you know "reggaeton"? (specially this last one)
