New beginnings in my art and research towards my art form

ABOUT ME

My name is long so I like to be called Camilo which is my middle name.
I am the son of a very talented musician I was born in Colombia to be more exact a small city called Pasto. A very interesting place full of artist culture and a lot of tradition.
Due to my fathers career my family and I started traveling to the us since I was 12 years old and that explains my bilingual skill amongst other I developed thanks to having the opportunity to see the world and be exposed to many different cultures. At age 13 my familia decided to stay in the us.
I started my musical career at a very young age very much grew up in it.
Join the my first professional band and started touring when I was 12 years old of course with my father as my guardian.
There after at age 16 was required to move to San Diego due to music opportunities and travels.
From then on I have embarked on an amazing journey all over the world traveling experiencing different cultures.traditions which reflect on music creating a sense of identity I have dedicated a big part of my life to research the roots of music folklore and contemporary music I became a recording engineer as well which allows me to translate and make me a more rounded person in my career.
Recently spent sometime in South America and now am here trying to continue and articulate all the knowledge acquired through all my travel in search of maximizing and achieve evolution my music m sound and who I am as a person.
Beside that I love to run every day
I love cooking because is just like making music
I love soccer
And I just love being here living now trying to be a conscious human being and a positive spirit not only for me but the world I live In.
