Im a gardener who lives in Washington state. Im into psychology, movement and plants! Recently learning more about permaculture and food forests.

I love the little things in life. The breeze on my face, standing under a tree to stay dry in a rainstorm, a cup of tea or a walk with a friend. Travel delights me, as a way to broaden my understanding of life and experience new cultures and flavors and ecosystems.
Im not here to see as much as I can in a day, Im here to watch a swan on the canal, or walk for 8km to a castle to see the countryside on the way.

Im home from Europe. Not traveling the first 2 weeks in Sept. Feel free to reach out. Im on the way to the Olympic national park, so its a good place to stop on the way to the mountains.

Im quite busy, so I dont have much time to hang out, but I can pick you up from the bus stop in Poulsbo, and drop you back off at transit in the morning.

Im on couchsurfing because I love meeting people and connecting with them while I travel. A trip to costa rica resulted in crashing on the couch of a friend I met on the beach. It was the best stay I had, like being at home in another country. Then I got a chance to Couchsurf last visit to Switzerland 8 years ago. It was a great experience. This summer will be my second time in europe.
Not everyone wants to have a chat with travelers and share food or interests or ideas. I love that Couchsurfing offers a platform for those of us who enjoy meeting new friends as we travel.
Im lucky enough to be staying with good friends for most of my European trip this summer, but Im also looking forward to making new friends and new connections.

Ive been partner dancing for fun since a beginner tango class 11 yrs ago. Im part of a fusion dance group. Just started jujitsu. Loving it. Just started spinning contact staff after years of fire poi.

I go for music I can move to. Im far more into dance and movement than music, so Im drawn to songs that inspire me to sing or dance.

My favorite books right now are ones I can learn from. I uses to relish fantasy novels, and I still would, but Im far more excited to sit down and read Crucial Conversations to learn more about how to have important conversations in my life.

I like movies I can watch with friends and that are playful and make me smile, or get me thinking about new ideas or perspectives.
Its a show rather than a movie, but I just watched Iwájú with a friend's kids and quite enjoyed it.
I also like superheroes.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

10 years ago I rode my motorcycle across the US and back. A distance of more than 8000 km. One day, after riding more than 1500 km from Oklahoma to Wyoming, I was exhausted enough to pull into a rest stop and sleep right there on my motorcycle, helmet and all.

Im happy to brainstorm with people about anything I know. Partner dance, gardening ideas, movement ideas, communication, travel ideas....

One of my favorite travel ideas has been to learn first how to say hi and thank you in a language, and after that to learn "Im sorry, I dont speak this language". That way when I try to say anything else people are prepared for how poor my language skills are.
