With this phrase I start this short essay about me. Every day I remember I just live once, so I try to do the best decisions everyday.
Most of the people have dreams, but do nothing to follow them. Would be easy to anyone to say "I`m different", but I think people should do more to their dreams become real.
And I did, I was a poor child in Brazil, my family always work hard, but it were hard years. Since my first years at school I was one of the best students, my mother always taught me what she could. With 16 years I had my first job. It was not easy, I had to work a lot, I worked in medical supply distribution, so I had to be careful with medicines and in meanwhile carry heavy boxes around the company. What can I say about that time right now? IT WAS FUN. I left a year and half after to join the college. The first of the family who would become graduated. I did not know at the time IT WAS SO IMPORTANT because I was so happy. I am a chemistry major, so as you can imagine, it was hard. I thought I would quit. But with the help of my parents I overcame all the problems.
In my home country, there is a exchange program to the best college students. I though "omg this must be so hard to get it", but I tried. And here I am, I realized my dream to come to the US to study, it is being the best year of my life. I`ve been accepted in the Arizona State University where I`m taking undergraduate classes during Fall 2015 until Spring 2016.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, two of the best things in the world are travel and meet new people. I love both of them. So, when I heard about this website I thought it would be a great chance to travel meanwhile know new people from different places. In Brazil I used to Hitchhiking to go from my college to my home city. It was pretty fun, each road had a different story.
