About Me

I'm from Rădăuți a small, quiet place from north of Romania. I've gratuated the University in 2008 (oh God there's a lot of time since then) and I decided to return to Rădăuți, feeling unconfortable with the noise and the chaos from a big city.

I consider myself a tolerant person, who offers and likes to receive others confidence; I like the ideea of justice, I'm sensitive with other people's feelings and maybe a little over critical with myself.
I have a strong sense of duty and responsability.

The place where l feel alive, where l somethimes find answers, where l sometimes find myself, where l'd go anytime is the forest.

I am truly fascinated by the culture of northern Europe, by its people and how they know to appreciate what nature had created and offered them, by the unique landscapes from this part of the world, by the sun from the midnights during summers. At least this is how things are seen by me.

For the moment the agnosticism hit me and I'm constantly doubting, learning, analysing, and testing theories, in order to understad humanity; I put myself lots of questions about who we are, what's next after this life, (another one hopefully), about soul and God and I'm trying to find acceptabile answers. I like to think about these stuff...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I want to meet new people from different countries and cultures, to share experiences and thoughts with them, to speak about everything and nothing :)) and of course to share with them my place. But living in a small town I know it is not so easy to meet new people and that why it would be a privilege for me to host you. I think it's very beautiful to help people out and this is what l try to do.

Interests

I love nature very much and that is the reason I spend a lot of time walking throught forests, mountain biking or watching the animals.

I also like mountain biking, to cook, to eat (healthy food...l belive), to watch athletics, rugby and handball, to prune and to graft trees.

It is a joy for me to be volunteerly part of afforestations every spring.

Also I adore horses...most beautiful animal on Earth (which other animal walks, runs, jumps with such a grace on 4 nails?) and dogs, big dogs, those ,,designed" to guard the flocks.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen all kind of good music as long as it sounds great or the lyrics send a message, but esspecially hard rock and some classics... Carl Orff's masterpiece - Carmina Burana is among them.

The same thing with the books. I like good memorialistics and historical books, but not the domain/genre of the book gives its value...

I know nothing about movies. 😁 but I like documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have gratuated the faculty first in ranking positions which was totally unexpected and amazing for me. Does it counts?😉

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Romanian words, Romanian costoms, how to cook Romanian dishes.

I can show you the marvellous surroundings (painted monasteries part of UNESCO patrimony are just a bit) and my nice, small town with a long past.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A place to stay and my time to share.
