I moved house across the United States a lot as a child. I've settled in to my beloved apartment in NYC a decade ago. I love having a home base, but find myself taking off several times throughout the year, both for work and adventures.
I depend on computers and networking for work, so I find comfort in unplugging when I can- be that biking, walking ,putting a pen, or paint to paper instead of typing, or reading a book outside.
I'm an extrovert and make friends easily- though I am very comfortable as a loner.
Happy to join in on some conversation and maybe fun activities or sharing a meal together. I am also keen to explore solo and stay out of your hair :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel often - sometimes a nice hotel is the right move, sometimes it is staying with friends or family, and sometimes getting to know a place through the kindness and openness of locals.
