I find that when people are looking for a description they are actually looking for generalizations and stereotypes, I don't fit any of those. In fact I make a point of muddling stereotypes, and I despise generalizations. Best thing to say is that I am a Russell, if you wanna find out what a Russell is then please come and surf with me...

philisophically speaking I'm a Cynical Stoic Optimist
religiously speaking I jump the fence a lot but currently I associate myself with Daoism.

I am interested in philosophy, counterculture, hakim bey, carpentry, scars, smiles, and stories which can only be told with an excessive amount of gestures, and pantomime. Oh and trade secrets, tinkering, carpentry, and long distance ocean sailing. I'm also a burner, so give me a beer and some buds and I'll talk about Burning Man until the cows come home.

I also have addictions to Keller Williams, String Cheese Incident, Yonder Mountain String Band, Devendra Bahnhart, alternative and underground hip hop, the Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Groundation, Toots and the Maytals, The White Stripes, The Black Keys, Burning Spear, Ratatat, Daft Punk, Mark Farina, The Chemical Brothers, Junior Kimbrough, Buddy Guy, Charles Mingus, Herbie Hancock, Medeski Martin and Wood, Duke Ellington, John Coltrane, Louie Armstrong, David Bowie, The Flaming Lips, The Old 97's, Les Claypool, The Abyssinians, Mozart, Beethoven and just about anything else that gets my toes tapping. not to mention I love battle star galactica..
