ABOUT ME

I am personable and sweet. I love listening to other people adventures, I have a few of my own worth recounting. I am most interested in studying languages. Arabic and French are the two I am most focused on right now. I enjoy walking, touring, exploring, playing music. I am pretty much up for anything, even dancing, although I am no good. I also am a morning, afternoon, and evening coffee and tea drinker.

I am open and enthusiastic. I also tend to laugh a lot.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first and only CouchSurfing experience was attending a barbecue in North Carolina with local couch surfers. Everyone was interesting and friendly. Also, because my parents have deemed themselves "empty nesters" now, they are going to start accepting couch surfers.

I signed a contract to speak only Classical Arabic for 10 weeks one summer in Oakland, California.

I can attempt to share my understanding of cultures through language. I think learning a language is the way to live completely in another culture. The world can not be experienced solely through English.
