CURRENT MISSION

Master's done: Slowly making my way from London to Beijing.

ABOUT ME

I'm not a very experienced traveler, but with my master's degree finally over I'm taking a year to cruise from London to Beijing. What I'm really interested in is getting to know people from all over the world and from different cultures, and I'm hoping that couchsurfing will be a great way to do that. (Hopefully I'll be able to host people when I get back too!)

I love people. I love making and joking around with friends. Probably my favourite nights were spent with a few bottles of wine and a handful of great friends telling jokes and stories.

I'm not too much of a partier. Instead I get my kicks (pun intended) swing dancing. If you haven't seen swing before, check out Lindy Hop on youtube. I can't get enough of it. I ran and taught for my university swing club last year and danced every chance I could get. It's an amazing way to meet people from all around the world. If you're up for it, I can show you a few steps!

I spent a year teaching English in Taiwan, which was one of the best experiences of my life. Met some great friends. Learned a little mandarin. Became really good at sign- and body-language!

I'm quite clean and very easy-going. I'm a pretty lousy cook, though.
