ABOUT ME

I'm now a 6th year senior at Texas State University - San Marcos. After accumulating 147 hours I burned out, went and travelled the USA in a 40' truck working with a freight expediting company. Then I decided to return to school to pursue a degree in helping solve transportation problems (Planning).

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life for me and no one else. This is not to say I'm selfish, I make sure that my friends, family are taken care of. But it is to say, that things I do in life are for me and not so much for anyone else...except maybe this Bachelor's Degree.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by doing nothing at all right now. But if you're ever in my neck of the woods and need a couch, and you don't particular care that is a blue and white checkered number feel free to come by. I'm expecting to need couches in Iowa and Illinois in March as I investigate grad schools and jobs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None. Actually, there is quite a lot of this, but any finite number divided by inifinity is as next to nothing as makes no odds.

The Guide, reading in general, computers, soccer, throwing lacrosse balls (I don't play after tearing my ACL), music of most kinds, animal welfare, especially dogs, not that I won't help any distressed animal.

音乐、电影和书籍

The Guide, Ender Series, particularly the earth bound plots. Snow Crash, Cryptonomicon. I tried getting into the Baroque cycle, it is kind of a difficult series to get into, lots of names. Musically, I like most music (country and rap, being notable exceptions). Most people would cry when they see my MP3 collection as there are many types of music covering 1600 to the present. Movies...meh Kevin Smith is a personal favorite of mine, but other than that I have no real strong feelings one way or another to movies.

There is no person on this planet that you can't learn something from, even if the only thing you learn is that you don't want to be like that person. And do your damndest to learn a foreign language, and make sure, if you choose to have kids, that they learn a foreign language.
