ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly nature lover/creative type/total nerd. In love with music, nature, puzzle solving, and all kinds of storytelling. I enjoy the outdoors, live music, quoting Anchorman, making things, exploring, learning, bad puns, costume parties, meeting kindred spirits, and finding places that are a little bit magical.

I'm in the process of settling down after nearly a year travelling around Scotland and North America.

I've had some great experiences surfing in New England and would like to host travellers in the future when my living situation works for that :)

I love a wide variety of music. A few of my favorites are Queens of the Stone Age, Nine Inch Nails, Gogol Bordello, the Dropkick Murphys, Tool, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Nick Cave, Calexico, John Butler Trio, I could go on forever there...

A love reading fiction, non-fiction and graphic novels (I just love stories really). Neil Gaiman is one of my favorite authors. Also a big fan of Terry Pratchett, Juliet Marillier, Alex Garland and Hunter S. Thompson. Oh and I grew up with Lord of Rings as my bedtime story so I'm definitely a Tolkien fan (from way back before it was cool).

Movies, I have a soft spot for Tarantino, Miyazaki and most black comedies. I also love old-school fantasy like the Princess Bride.
