I’m just a young and passionate second year college student who loves traveling with my heart and soul. Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and raised in Queens, New York has made me a very diverse person. Born to a Chinese dad and a Korean mom, I have done plenty of traveling ever since I was young, with my parents moving around different locations in the world for work. I absolutely love meeting new people and getting to know other cultures and backgrounds. These has been nurtured by my interest in international relations, which is my current college major. I believe only real-life experience gives you the best firsthand lesson so I’m very excited to be able to travel to Norway this coming winter because I have never been to any of the Scandinavian countries and would love to know more about what these high standard living countries have to offer!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have heard such good thing about the community in Couchsurfing. In fact, my older sister stayed with one of the hosts when she visited Panama and they have become really good friends ever since. I want to join this amazing community and meet new people when I’m traveling because not only does that help me to see the world but to understand other cultures better.

I love languages and have been exposed to different languages ever since I was born. I speak 5 languages fluently and Spanish partially. I’m definitely more than willing to learn and teach my hosts some basic - few words of each and different language I speak!
