ABOUT ME

An adventurous traveler who loves playing violin :) Yes I like playing music on the streets as well, it's an interesting way for me to know a new place, also building connection with locals.

I'm born and raised in Taiwan, but never being a typically stereotypical Taiwanese :P Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Taiwan and am so proud to call such a beautiful place 'home.' It's just that I don't limit myself by others' opinions and I am a bit bolder to step out of the comfort zone. Now I'm having a free life, juggling between different roles: musician, busker, traveler, event organizer, etc.

In 2014, I went to the Netherlands for my exchanging semester in Leiden University. It was the time of my life that my world had expanded beyond my imagination and I saw lots of possibilities in myself. It was also the time that I found music has been such important to me and can bring so much joy to myself and people around me.
I always look on the bright sides of things and people. I LOVE to see the beauty and kindness in human nature, and feel the warmth by those smiles. I love laughing a lot, and share things with people. I love both nature and culture.
Oh, and as I couldn't have emphasized more, music is my life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started surfing at the age of 20, in 2014.
During my study in the Netherlands in spring and summer of 2014, I was traveling around Europe with my violin and try to earn the money that covers the expenses ;)
While looking back on those experiences, I found that the hosts I met are always the reason that I fall in love with a city! I LOVE the way of traveling with CS!
I also joined some CS meeting during my travel, and now I would like to be a host and share the things that I know with travelers. ;)

Couchsurfers In Class Project is also the most important reason why I'm still using CS even when I'm not traveling. ;)

兴趣

Music is definitely on the top of my interests list. I play music (mostly the piano and the violin) and also like to listen to the music. When traveling, seeing anything that's related to music (in any form) will make me thrilled!

As a person who also play music, I would like to absorb the essence of different kinds of music, and transfer into the music that I express.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

-Busking with my violin on the streets of Leiden on King's Day!
-Wandering alone on the streets of Amsterdam around midnight.
-Taking a bus to Brussels to see my friend who's coming from Venezuela.
-Climbing on the roof of a 10 floor building and see the view of Paris from above.
-Jamming with a group of international people... and become good friends.
-I was playing the violin in a small park... was meant to play to myself, but a guy stopped by and listened for a while, and he wept.
-Busking with my violin through out my trip in England for 2 weeks, and earned the costs for my travel.
-Hitch-hiked from the border of Italy and Austria to Vienna.
-Solo traveled for 22 days round Taiwan. Met so many awesome folks and created tons of stories.
