About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm pretty laid back and easy to get along with. Essentially I just go with the flow and don't let the little things bother me. I'll never be the life of the party but I am pretty entertaining.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sadly right now I'm not able to host anyone. Hopefully in the future I'll have the opportunity. However, if you're stopping in Ottawa and would like a tour of the area feel free to drop me a line and we'll see what we can arrange.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed my way home from University. It was a great experience and I was fortunate enough to meet some amazing people along the way.

Interests

Hockey is a good outlet for me but I'll pretty much play anything. I got into photography while I was at university and have continuously been upgrading my equipment. I try to get out with it as often as I can as to ensure it doesn't become an expensive paperweight.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll listen to any music except screamo. I wouldn't consider myself an avid reader. I can enjoy a good action or comedy movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked to the top of the Sleeping Giant in Thunder Bay Ontario. It was an absolutely gorgeous day for the five and a half hours it took us to do the round trip hike (approximately 30km). The top gave an amazing view of the fall trees and the surrounding area. Sadly we were tight on time so we didn't make it to the other side of the mountain. Completed a second 30km hike the following spring in a different section of the park. Clearly I did not learn from the first one that your body doesn't like going from little activity to 30km hikes. Both were well worth not being able to walk for a few days.

Seeing the Atlantic Ocean for the first time when I was about three has a pretty good memory to go with it. Note to self: don't let dad convince you to drink the water. Also don't stand in the sun if you've managed to get tar on your back.
