ABOUT ME

I graduated last year from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and spent one last awesome summer partying with friends before we would all return to our different homes or be scattered across the globe. Turns out I would be one of those swept away: in August I decided to come to sunny Kunming, known as the Spring City, in order to learn Chinese and see what China has to offer. I've been here ever since, slowly picking up Mandarin and teaching English on the side to support myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No real experiences. A good friend of mine introduced me to the site, and while here in China I've spoken to many travellers who have travelled the width and breadth of Asia purely on CouchSurfers' generosity, without spending a dime, and meeting some awesome people along the way. As I find myself fortunate enough to be living in a house large enough to share, I thought I'd help out however I could.
