ABOUT ME

I am a 33-year-old New Yorker who wants to catch a glimpse of life outside of the big city. I was raised to be polite and intellectually curious. I love languages and want to learn more. I am a legit singer and also a pianist, oboist, and flutist. Hmmm, what else... I'm trying to live more green lately... and I love to meet people who know the joys of a good laugh.

PHILOSOPHY

Isn't that a loaded question. I find pleasure in working with the young singers at my school... I love the energy of New York City and the other places I visit... I am blessed with a phenomenal family and a great circle of friends. A good laugh with friends over a meal or a drink is reason enough to get out of bed in the morning ;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I recently moved to a 1BR apartment in Astoria, Queens, which is not far from Manhattan. I have a couch and an inflatable mattress in addition to my bed. I don't travel very often but would love to meet kind, friendly, and fun locals wherever I go who can put me up for a night or 4 ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have now hosted a few friendly fellows at my place and shortly after I had some old CS friends host me in Paris. Of course, I also host the occasional friend who crashes at my place after an evening of debauchery...
