ABOUT ME

I moved around a bit when I was younger but I've spent the majority of my life in Colorado and consider it to be my home. Right now I'm in Morocco working with artisans and such, and I'll be here until 2010. I'm hoping that by then I'll have figured out what I really want to do with the rest of my life. I have much more free time right now than I ever would have imagined, so I've used it to rekindle my passion for reading, which I had lost for a few years.

I love checklists, sleeping in, road trips, strawberry shortcake ice cream, cous cous Fridays, the thesaurus feature in Word, wormwood-flavored tea, playing cards, and watching sunsets from my roof. I'm also a big movie person and have wasted way too much money on DVDs.

I hate reality TV, olives, mold growing on my walls, spiders, doing laundry by hand, paying for everything in cash, perpetual complainers/pessimists, losing, and being crammed into a taxi with six other people.

PHILOSOPHY

Books are useless! I only ever read one book, To Kill a Mockingbird, and it gave me absolutely no insight on how to kill mockingbirds! Sure it taught me not to judge a man by the color of his skin, but what good does that do me?

Traveling, learning about different cultures, reading, surfing Wikipedia for hours on end, most genres of music, computers and anything technology related, photography, telling funny stories, watching movies, politics (but I hate arguing about it), history, sports - football, soccer, basketball
