I'm a 28-year-old who has been living in Boston for the last six(ish) years with a brief west coast living adventure. I love the east coast but have traveled a lot all over the country and some international travel as well. I love walking around, playing basketball, going for runs, city living, delicious food and record stores.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been on couchsurfing for a few years and am a veteran in the world of crashing with people. I think it's one of the best ways to see a place and meet new people even if you risk the occasional awkward host, uncomfortable sleeping or sketchiness.

Interessi

i have a hard time listing my interests without having them sound really generic (i.e. reading, music, sports, etc). I think my biggest interest is people and how they function.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I saw an incredible lighting storm while I was driving across Kansas with my dad. It spanned the entire skyline without there actually being any rain coming down on us - the storm was surrounding us and you could see lightning start on one end of the horizon and move all the way across. This continued to be incredible until we drove into the storm and I heard the word "tornado" mentioned on the radio at which point I decided it was time to stop for the night.

What can I teach? How to travel cheap and do the Boston public transportation system like a boss.

I want to learn how to get at the heart of a place without having the spend too much time weeding through the surface dressing.
