Overview
About Me
I am proud to be South American and currently live in La Esmeralda, Rocha, with my beloved feline companion. I enjoy connecting with people from around the world and sharing experiences. I’m passionate about sustainable living and urbanism, and I’m currently working on small-scale construction projects in my area. I welcome volunteers who are eager to learn, share ideas, and contribute to creative building initiatives in harmony with nature. Let's build something amazing together!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I actively participate in Couchsurfing by opening my home and heart to travelers from around the world. Beyond offering a place to stay, I enjoy sharing meals, stories, and experiences—including an ice-cold cerveza after a day of exploring!
My Couchsurfing adventures have been nothing short of incredible. I've learned so much from hosts and guests alike, and I've had the privilege of surfing in amazing places while connecting with fascinating people.
As a host, I particularly enjoy welcoming backpackers and travelers with a passion for discovery. I also invite those interested in hands-on experiences to join me in small-scale construction projects I’m working on—it's a fun way to create, learn, and leave a positive mark together.
Couchsurfing is more than just a travel network; it’s a community of open-minded, adventurous souls. I’m grateful for every connection and memory this platform has brought into my life.
Interests
Firstly, I find urbanism fascinating. I am interested in the study of how cities are planned, designed and developed. I believe that good urban planning is crucial for creating livable, sustainable and equitable cities.
Another interest of mine is geography. I love learning about the physical and human features of different places around the world. Understanding the geography of a place can help me to appreciate its unique characteristics and also to grasp the challenges that it may face.
Cartography is another topic that I find interesting. I enjoy examining maps and analyzing their design, content and accuracy. I believe that maps can tell us a lot about a place and its people, and that they can also be an important tool for communicating information.
Another area that I am passionate about is unconventional architecture. I enjoy exploring innovative and unique building designs that challenge traditional concepts of space and form. I believe that unconventional architecture can inspire creativity and help to create truly remarkable buildings and spaces.
In addition to my interest in urbanism, geography, cartography and unconventional architecture, I am also interested in the development of artistic movements and the use of data for the common good. I believe that art can play an important role in shaping public perception and communicating important messages about social and environmental issues. I also believe that data can be a powerful tool for solving problems and improving quality of life for communities.
