About Me

I am Gustavo from Brazil. I am easygoing, like outdoor activities (camping, hiking, cycling). A bit different from other travelers I am traveling slowly and I always travel to not touristic places.

Currently in India...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great idea because you can meet locals. You can understand better about the country that you are traveling, exchange experiences, knowledge and make new friends.

I love to learn how to prepare the typical food of the countries I am visiting. I also like to talk about politics, religion or history.
I like to discover new places and explore the nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer Rock (Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Metallica, Scorpions, AC DC), Jazz, Blues, Bossa Nova and classical music.
I enjoy more watching horror, true story, documentary and action. (Elite Squad, My name Ain’t Johnny, Slumdog Millionaire, Life of Pi, City of God, The Lobster, Green Book)

Cooking books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was a volunteer in a hospital for disable kids in São Paulo. I helped a friend with his farm in South Korea for a month. Travel from Pechory to Vladivostok during winter. Snowboard in Ulaanbaatar for first time without instructor. Hike the Great Wall of China alone without tourists. Flying a balloon in Cappaddocia. Hike the valley in Petra. Learn how to surf in Baler.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to cook properly and easy. I can give tips about Brazil and about the countries I already visited.
I want to learn about your culture, history and traditional dishes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I try always to cook for my hosts. I can share food, I can share the knowledge of cooking. I can share my experiences of traveling. I can share my stories and my time.
