ABOUT ME

Hey my names Tammmi and I'm a fun easy going girl who LOVES travel, spending time with friends and family and getting to know new people! I love doing new things, seeing new places and creating memories and experiences that will last forever! I'm also really looking forward to completing my degree at the end of the year and starting my career in Human Resources. But most of all I love having fun, and living life to its fullest because its too short to do anything else!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hey I began couch surfing this year as my best friend and I just came back from New York City, and based on what couch surfing is all about I thought it would be an amazing opportunity for us to get to know the culture and people first hand! And because both of us are young and love meeting new friends it sounded like a perfect idea! Also I'd like to expand on it in the furtue, this is just the beginning of couch surfing and hosting for me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have surfed in New York last month, it was awesome! Had the coolest host, and being able to stay with a local made the trip so much less touristy and foreign, in other words I felt so welcomed to New York! Was soo much fun, best experience ever :)

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

Well..... I'll confess I haven't read anything except text books and journal articles for the past three years.. other than the odd few novels on the plane and on journeys during my travels.. but, when I was younger (I'll confess again) that I have read the Harry Potter books, and other horsey fiction book series. When I have spare time I plan to go and find some good ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmmmm.... this box has got to be about Egypt.. I really felt the true magic of this place, everything from the people to the culture to the place and it's environment. The mosques, the pyramids, the nile, the language, the constant blue skys, the colours of the country.. I'll treasure this one forever!
