ABOUT ME

I am a simple girl. It does not take much to make me happy -- a good book or film, a cup of coffee shared with a friend. Family and friends are the most important thing in the world to me! I am loyal to a fault.

I'm currently obtaining my Mass Communication degree at Boise State University. After that, I'm moving to Los Angeles to pursue a film career. I want to be a Camera Operator and move up to Cinematographer someday.

This will be a huge change for me, since my hometown only had 500 people in it! If anyone has any tips on how to survive in the big city, that would be appreciated. I'm hoping to make some friends down there before I move.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not a religious person. I just go by the philosophy: Treat other people with kindness and respect. We're all humans, and we all deserve to be treated fairly and equally. I am pro-Human Rights, which may sound silly, but there are still some portions of our society, even in the United States, that are not treated fairly.

I've always been impacted by this quote from Voltaire. "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." This world would be much easier to live in if people tried to see things from the other person's perspective once in awhile. A wise person once told me, that in order to effectively solve a problem you need to be able to defend and argue the opposition's point of view. What if our government thought that way? Makes you think...
