To listen, connect, and genuinely care. I'm enjoying life in Colorado and trying to continue exploring places both near and far. I love learning about the people and places I discover and making the world feel more connected and full.

ABOUT ME

From the VA/DC area, I moved to Colorado in 2014 after volunteering in Southeast Asia for 5 months. i thought the mountains might be calling me, and I discovered how I home I feel surrounded by them.

I value honesty and respect. I'm extremely caring, considerate, and inclusive. I am active, adventurous, and enthusiastic. I'm clean, respectful, and a non-smoker.

PHILOSOPHY

Personal Purpose: To ignite and encourage others to feel inspired (and act) to be a better version of themselves.

I do believe that life is what we make of it, and I want to make it happy and filled with continuous learning about others, about myself, and about how to improve the connections and shared support that help make life fulfilling.

I love smiling and laughing so much that my cheeks start to hurt. I love being genuine and meeting genuine people. I love finding the small, lesser known things about life that make the difference.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started surfing while traveling throughout Southeast Asia in 2014, stayed with amazing people along my road trip from the east coast to Colorado, and I try to make the Denver meetups when possible!

I generally never give myself the time to enjoy movies, but II tend to enjoy comedy, action, romantic comedies, and dramas. I enjoy reading (mainly nonfiction memoirs), writing, and being incredibly impressed by spoken word poetry and storytelling. I enjoy mostly all music genres, especially live.

I visited over 50 nonprofits while I volunteered in Southeast Asia, meeting incredible people and witnessing life-changing programs.

Teach & Share: I'm someone who has tried many things, but definitely am not a master at any.

I am a pretty decent cook. I tend to add/change recipes as I go.

I can share insight into volunteering overseas and online fundraising for nonprofits.

I can share thoughts on Colorado adventures based on interests and ability levels. I can help prepare you for those adventures.

I make an amazing banana chocolate chip cookie. :)
