Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't like travelling just for the views. For me, the point of going somewhere else is to get somewhere else's perspective of the world. Couchsurfing looks like a good way to get that.

Although the views are also pretty good now that I think about it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't know about movies and books, but I'll tell you about a bird I really like: the tawny frogmouth. It's called like that because it has this huge weird head with a beak like the mouth of a frog. They're nocturnal animals, and during the day they stretch their necks and bodies until they look exactly like a branch on a tree and never move. Some people have whole families of tawny frogmouths living near them and they never even notice them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a bit of Spanish and a bit of English, which I can teach. I'd like to learn French, even though the language makes my throat cry.

I know how to make noise with a guitar. I can teach you how to make noise with a guitar, or, if you already know how to make noise with some instrument or another, we can have a jam and make noise together.

What else? I've been told I'm pretty good at drawing drapery, so if you have a favorite blanket or towel, I can make a handsome portrait of it.

I can also teach you to count binary numbers on your fingers, which is pretty nifty.
