About Me
** Not accepting surfers at the moment because I'm moving flat **
I'm a British guy, living in Barcelona on and off since January 2013.
I generally give priority to guys, as I know they have a much harder time finding a couch. But there aren't so many guys looking for couches, so don't let that put you off it you're a woman.
Bonus if you speak French.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting travellers, going to the social meetings.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Wandering around the city and going to the beach with a great guy from Chicago, eating squid and clams at a dinner party catered by my Couchsurfer, very nearly getting into terrible trouble with a French anarchist in Gótico, and much more.
Interests
Beer, food, cooking, bikes, science, nature, swing, bebop, NWOBHM, picking the labels off beer bottles, annoying vegetarians.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: pretty much anything that requires skill to play. I'm not saying I couldn't love electronic music, but it hasn't touched me yet.
I particularly love short stories; Chekhov, Maugham, Poe, Hemingway, Capote, and my all-time favourite Maupassant. I'll also read anything from poetry to crappy action novels.
In my spare time I write fiction. My prose is clumsy, my plots thin. So really it's a wonder I'm not a best-selling author.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was once served a paella which contained a brussels sprout.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: guitar, cooking, English, cool places to go in BCN
Learn: Stuff I don't know. How to do a hand stand would be great.
Share: Good times, curries
