About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy life. Meet new people. Continue exploring. Have fun!
ABOUT ME
I'm born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and then by far the most traveled person in my family. Most of my life is about pursuing my interests while saving up for another trip somewhere else in the world. For work and to serve other people, I do supply chain consulting, public speaking, photography, and philanthropic work. I'm really relaxed person who likes to go just about anywhere to hang out with friends, and I really have no problem. Getting to know anyone I meet face-to-face.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I hadn't done couch surfing in a while and then back in August '24, I wanted to travel to Ireland and I thought I'd look back into couch surfing and I found a wonderful host there. When I came back from Ireland, I was moving into a new loft in Atlanta and I decided to get one with ae spare room so I could host people.
I always like to be able to host, help out, and meet new people who are visiting my hometown of Atlanta.
Interests
1. Traveling is awesome just because for some of us you feel stuck if you're just in one place too long.
2. Jeeps: I've always driven jeeps because my granddad drove one in the army in World War II and has all the stories about it saved his life, so I figured I'll be safe and drive a jeep.
3. Backpacking started right after college and it has always been my main way of travel for anything other than business trips.
4. Art. I did sculpture in high school so art pretty much has stuck with me since then even though I went on to be an industrial engineer in college. It balances you out.
5. Books. There are a few stories I like, but a lot of the books I read are documentary and educational or about other parts of the world.
6. Movies. A good movie can keep me rolling through a tough week or make a fun day even better. The way some directors and actors bring together good stories onto the screen really stimulates the mind sometimes.
7. Photography. I grew up flipping through National Geographic magazines all week long looking at the pictures. When I got older and I got the money, I bought a camera and the rest is history.
8. Philanthropy. It's always good to go to be a bit more than you're required to be in life and help make someone or something else a little better off.
9. Outdoors. It's good to go and see things that are natural and away from the city and society sometimes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two weeks after I graduated from college, I decided not to take a job offer - and in just 2 days - I flew off for what was to become a life chaging 2 month backpacking trip through Europe. Best decision ever!!!
Teach, Learn, Share
Traveling the world I have always found that wherever you choose to go, just trusting your instincts and following your interest, you inevitably run into someone who you can have the most amazing conversations with.
The people you meet you venture away from your hometown, want to see more of the world, learn more about the world, and are always receptive and sharing of ideas and stories. Truthfully, I think it is one of the least appreciated things that humans have is the ability to step away from just survival and go into a explorative frame of mind.

I've traveled all over the world, so I always like to chat with people and give advice or hear ideas.
