Overview
About Me
I’m a married father of 2 boys living in Paris. (Our boys have flown the coop. So we’re empty nesters now). I’m a Business School professor but I also teach English to hotel staff and restaurant chefs and staff. I love learning and teaching languages. I am equally at home on a 8 day solo hike in the Pyrenees as in museums enjoying art exhibits about Da Vinci, Vermeer, Hockney, Hopper etc. (I’m a member of the Louvre and Grand Palais). Also crazy about skiing, distance hiking, vintage cars, history, sports and nutrition, healthy eating. The list is long.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I was in college, I biked across America and backpacked through Europe. Everywhere I went, kind and generous people showed me hospitality. Same for my time in Japan. CS is such a wonderful opportunity to return the favor and keep the journey from ending.
