About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To cherish the pursuit of the mission.

ABOUT ME

I'm happiest when I'm being creative: when I'm making, doing, playing, cooking, and learning new things. I'm adventurous: give me new experiences!

PHILOSOPHY

To never accept my personal philosophy as entirely correct, but to always self-examine and self-criticize.

To try and gain a sense of place and purpose within my personal life, the world, and the universe. I'm truly happy whenever I feel as though I'm gaining insight into these things...which, to some degree, I believe we are doing at all times.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to stay on others couches and meet amazing new people. I hope to help others do the same in my home too. I want to build the reputation of the couchsurfing community through my participation because I think it's a network that recognizes the importance of being trusting, open-minded, and adventurous.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've gained a lot of key sleepover experience on friends' couches in my youth. To name a few key competencies of mine: I know how make anything into a blanket, close doors silently, and make a wide variety of egg-sandwiches.
I'm beginning to host guests this fall (2012) in hopes of building my reputation and in turn going on my own adventure after I graduate in December.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On a whim while in Venice I made a day trip to Lago di Garda - Lake Garda. The night prior, I picketed the other students to join; only one was willing. We left at 5:00 am, returned at 10:00 pm, and in between stood atop Alps with paragliders, fled from these Alps in a thunderous hailstorm, and left the Alps in the distance at sunset from a . While I can be a "planner," this day of such joyous impulse left a lasting impression upon me.
