I find I enjoy travelling the most when I get to spend time with the people who are actually from the place I am visiting. There is always so much more to learn then whatever tourist things google tries to get me to go to. I love making new connections with people around the world in the hopes that one day I can show them where i'm from too.

兴趣

I really love exploring new things and I tend to be interested in just about anything. Architecture is not just my major buy my passion, seeing it in all it's different settings and iterations is always fascinating to me. I know it's a cliche but I am a big outdoor person, I love backpacking more than anything and have spent many weeks in the Sierra Nevada and many other places in the Western U.S. I love seeing live music, going to museums and learning as much as I can about the places I go.

Music is one of my passions and I love to discover new music from all genres. It's hard for me to be specific, but some of my favorite artists are John Coltrane, Aphex Twin, R.E.M., Calexico, Men I Trust, Fleetwood Mac, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Talking Heads, Animal Collective, Flying Lotus, Badbadnotgood, Julia Holter, Rosalia, Gotan Project, Modest Mouse, I can go on forever. I love film, especially Kubrick and Lynch.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I was hiking Canyonlands in Utah and we were caught in a massive downpour. Got to watch the desert turn into a waterpark, gullies turned into raging streams and the entire canyon became a waterfall, with thunder and lighting seemingly every 10 seconds. We hid under a cliff edge and watched it go on for about half an hour, it was completely unforgettable.
