About Me

CURRENT MISSION

transforming the legal profession

ABOUT ME

I've been a nomad since 2008. I walked out of my old life to create my new life as a work of art. It has been pretty amazing. My official base is Taos, NM, USA, but I'm not there much. In fact, I'm not anywhere for long periods of time. Once in a while, I get a housesit and settle for a few months to write, catch up. Otherwise, I am on the go, building a network of peacemaking lawyers.

I'm a middle aged white woman who is passionate about creating a world of peace, prosperity, self expression and contentment. I am currently focused on law because lawyers are highly influential and I am one.

PHILOSOPHY

Be the change you want to see in the world. (Previously attributed to Gandhi, recently it has been revealed that he didn't say it.)

Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all. --Helen Keller

We are all family.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have a house and haven't had one since 2007. As a nomad, I generally stay with friends or use on-line rental sites. I've become unhappy with the most well-known rental site and looking for other options. Though I signed up several years ago, this is my first experience with CouchSurfing.com.

Interests

Law, healing, conscious evolution, personal growth, systems change, organizational development, spiral dynamics

Music, Movies, and Books

Once a voracious reader, for the last few years, that has shifted. Most of my reading is on the internet. I've written two books that others enjoy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first two years of my travel, I visited 25 states and 16 national parks in the US, mostly camping. In 2012, I started traveling internationally. I've circumnavigated the world a few times.

I wrote an American Bar Association best selling book in 2010. My next one is due out in late 2016.

I've lived primarily in the gift and alternate economy for the last seven years.
