About Me
Curious artist who’s finally prioritizing meeting more of this world and the people in it. I'm an extroverted introvert, laidback but spirited, always game for a hike, swim, or anything arts and cultural. Conversation over good food is my happy place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy the adventurous community, making new friends, and learning a place and culture from the people who actually live in it.

Music, Movies, and Books
Currently reading 'An Immense World'—it explores how different animals perceive our world with wildly different senses—but I enjoy a lot of literary fiction, mysteries, and travel writing.
I love film. Works by Denis Villeneuve, Alfonso Cuarón, Agnès Varda, Andrew Haigh, Nora Ephron, David Lean and Luca Guadagnino are favorites. I volunteer at a local repertory cinema and watch all kinds of wonderful, terrible movies.
Music makes it all sing. Now listening to a range of 70s Bollywood soundtracks, freak folk, and ambient soundscapes, but I was raised on American classic rock and folk, and love listening to anything played live.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Slid through moonlit ice caves.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've taught cooking and baking before, and co-ran a vegan/gluten-free farmers market stand once. Can also teach you a fun blind line drawing technique, everyone should keep drawing.
I’d love to learn the local histories of your place, or any recipe you’re willing to share.
Countries I’ve Visited
