Londoner living Down Under!

Currently a student at UQ in Brissy.

I am lively, open-minded and reliable. I like to socialise, go out for the occasional drink and generally, have good fun.

I've lived in 5 countries so I've developed a fascination for travelling. I am very interested in learning about new cultures and meeting new people. I am half Brazilian and half Australian but I was mainly brought up in London, England.. bit of a mixture!

I'd like to say I have a good sense of humour and I'm pretty easy to get along with so yeah!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I've done quite a few things with couchsurfing like:

Couchsurfed a couple of times in Brazil and Argentina.
Attended CS meetings in Ljubljana (Slovenia), Nice (France), Sao Paulo (Brazil), Brisbane (Australia)
Met a few CSers who were willing to show me around across Europe and South America which was great!
So my overall experience has been pretty positive!

兴趣

Love music - many genres from Brazilian country to Rock, from R'n'B to Jazz. Anything that has a decent beat and that I can dance to; I enjoy.
I am very open-minded and I love travelling; I make sure that I explore foreign countries as much as possible.
Swimming is one of the sports I enjoy the most - I used to be on many swimming teams in school, out of school.. anywhere and everywhere. But now it is just a hobby, whether it be in the sea or in a swimming pool.
Going out to clubs, bars, getting to know people is what I like to do. I can sometimes be slightly shy but after maybe a few drinks... I become more open, I guess.

Favourite film: Definitely - Into the wild!! Love it - always makes me cry.

Other movies I enjoy include The Prestige, The Illusionist and all those twisted and thought provoking movies, Shawshank Redemption etc.

All time favourite singer: The Weeknd :D

Along with other bands/singers: Drake, SBTRKT, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Flume, Kilo Kush..

I've done such great things like:
Climbed The Great Wall of China
Visited Guilin and Yangshuo in China where hiked through the most breath-taking landscape.. just incredible stuff!
Discovering beautiful Istanbul and the completely different culture
Going to Porto Seguro in Brazil and seeing how the natives of Brazilian culture came about.
Swimming with dolphins & sand boarding on Moreton Island, Australia
Went interailing around Europe and saw some great things in Amsterdam, Prague, Budapest, Zagreb, Split, Hvar, Ljubljana, Bled this summer
