ABOUT ME

I might come off as a bit quiet, but that doesn't mean that I don't have anything to say.

I want to go back to school to pursue a degree in museum studies so one day I can be a curator in an art museum.

I have been in Toledo for 6 months, but studied here for a semester 2 1/2 years ago. Art and art history are my specialties...and I can't get enough of this city! Currently I teach English to preschool and primary school children - they are a riot. I'm enjoying it so much that I am staying another year.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want other CS members to love Toledo like I do! I don't mind being a guide for the day. I'm familiar with the sites and interned with the art museum here. If you're looking to do some site seeing (in English or in Spanish), or for a good place to have a coffee and chill, I'm your person!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm brand new to CS, so I don't have any experiences to share. My friends highly recommend it and I can't wait to post my experiences!

Art history, specifically Spanish Baroque Painting.

Mini adventures to explore my city. You can't go somewhere new without exploring your own backyard, right?

Traveling, obviously. I experiencing new cultures and meeting people from around the world. Be a traveler, not a tourist!

I love all kinds of music. Mumford & Sons, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Arcade Fire being my top 3. I was lucky to see all three at Lollapalooza in Chicago, IL in 2010.

I also have a new passion for the banjo.
