Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a few times and have the pleasure of meeting some really great people! Hoping to to to Iceland soon and try out couch surfing as a guest for the first time. :)

Interests

I love reading, hiking, biking, art museums and galleries, music and concerts, eating but not necessarily cooking... lol, and of course, travelling... I spent most of 2012 traveling thru Central America and South America. It was an amazing experience.... ( as you could imagine!) Also spent the Fall of 2013 traveling all over India and Nepal and Summer 2015 doing a road trip thru the African continent.

Music, Movies, and Books

Hitchcock, Woody Allen and Pedro Almodovar are some of my favorite directors... foreign, classic, indie type stuff... I'm also a kind of a nerd... I'm usually reading a couple books concurrently... history, bio's and both fiction and non fiction... and when I'm not reading or watching movies I'm always listening to music or going to live show and concerts... rock, pop, classic, indie, electronic, jazz, opera, disco, rap, punk, mariachi.... you name it... I listen to it! Radiohead, Grizzly Bear, Arcade Fire, Postal Service, Daft Punk, Maria Callas, Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughn, Billie Holiday, Sigur Ros, Joy Division, Bjork, Beethoven just to name a few of my faves....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being face to face with the Mona Lisa in the Louvre. Climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Eating street tacos in Mexico City and hearing Sigur Ros perform in the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in downtown LA.
