I write music. I write essays. I dig around places (where I live, a nearby town, the world, etc.) to figure out what the hell is going on here. I read a lot of science fiction. If no one stops me I find the aux input to the stereo at your party and try to turn the living room into a dance floor. I'm nice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In 2009 I started hosting people at my apartment in L.A. (see comments). As of today (June 14th, 2015) I've never stayed as a guest at a Couchsurf house, but I'm looking forward to trying it out soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The past ten years of my life are one giant couch surf, but not on this site. Touring musicians have an unspoken pact that we're all allowed to crash at each others' places, so even though I've traveled all 48 continental U.S. states I've only paid for a hotel or hostel ten or fifteen times. I'm the kind of guy that does your dishes when you're not looking.
