I am daring abroad!

I up and left my home country, Kenya when I got a full scholarship to go study in the United Kingdom , Scotland specifically, for a year - which has become a haven of a couple 'firsts' for me :
- First international trip
- First and longest time I have ever been separated from my family
- First solo trip abroad ( and for many more to come)

I have loved every single minute of it- the experience has been phenomenal. Even the cold weather has been bearable as this was something I have always wanted to be a part of. I am also reconnecting with myself - and loving how that is turning out to be. I am living out the dreams of my childhood - which were to travel across continents, and that is being fulfilled one trip at a time.

We are one body, one human race. A quote Publius Terence, the Roman playwright wrote resonates with me:

"I am human, and I think nothing human is alien to me."

Thus whether we share the same beliefs or not does not matter-I will extend care, respect, kindness, forgiveness and lots of grace.

I love to discover and explore new places and always long to be one with nature in the outdoors or to see new places that I have only ever heard of. I am collecting meaningful travel stories and hope we can be cordial and become good friends with you when I stay with you or I host you.

So, are you the person I am meeting next? I hope so!

Moved from Kenya to Scotland in 2018
Hiked up Mt Longonot and went round the crater!
Travelled to Belfast and did the Game of Thrones tour in January 2019 on my birthday
Visited Old Trafford Stadium , home of Manchester United and completed a tour
Explored Liverpool city - Anfield Stadium
Etihad Stadium is the home of Manchester City Football Club
