Overview
About Me
I am a sustainability educator, group facilitator, event planner, cook, and world traveler looking for a place to stay while visiting Austria this spring. My boyfriend and I are traveling to see this beautiful part of Europe, visit family friends, and attend a few events.
We have spent the last several months living in West Africa, leading volunteer trips and developing a center called InTerraTree. Based in Togo, InTerraTree is a permaculture demonstration site and cultural center built with local partners. We are now both enjoying time to relax and appreciate modern comforts after a intense experience in Africa.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet interesting people and get a "local" experience while traveling the world. I also want to participate in a economic system based on the gift, building a sense of community and mutual exchange wherever I go.
Interests
I love to be physically active: running, yoga, and cross-training. I am passionate about exploring the traditional culture, and especially the local food traditions, of every place I travel. Although I move through cities, my favorite places are in nature and the country side.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy almost all music and movies. Reading is a life-long passion as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Educated African children about the importance of up-cycling trash through building a cob bench made out of plastic bottles stuffed with village waste.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love deep conversations - let's talk.
