My name is Cyril, I'm French from France but living in Taiwan since a few years now ^_^ I was born in Paris but mostly grew up in the South of France nearby Marseille in Provence but also North of France nearby Paris in countryside of Picardie where my family comes from ^_^

I'm an open-minded person, kind, patient, comprehensive I guess, good listener, I can be shy at first meeting maybe but once we've met and shared some about each others, then I'm opening more myself ;-) I'll always do my best to make my host confortable like if they were in their own house ^_^

I've always dreamed to discover others countries around the world, meet different people from different cultures! I was about to choose Japan or China but then, Destiny drove me in Taiwan and I've settled down here ^_^ This country is just incredible by its small size but with so much on it! When you are here, you feel freedom, kindness, safety, etc... everywhere! A real little paradise! ^_^

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I've discovered this website, my life and myself changed in so many positive ways! I've met lot of different people from different places of the world! I made very good friends, had lot of great experiences! Everyone should try it! ^_^

I like to make new friends from everywhere in the world, I like to take my scooter and leave the city for random little ride in mountains, I love eating, swimming, hiking, movie theatre, beautiful books, music, etc... many things and I want to learn more and more from you, from Life! ^_^

Music, Movies, and Books

All kind of music (can be heavy metal or classical music or pop music or dance music, techno music, RnB, rap music, etc... I listen everything everyday because Music is Life!!! ^_^ All kind of movies especially fantastic, action, love movies but also, I'm a big fan of Mangas (Japanese Animes), TV series and I like beautiful books about the world and writers like Dan Brown or Mitch Albom ^_^

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- When I came to Taiwan alone, only my backpack with me for my very first trip abroad ^_^

- A full solar eclipse in 1999 in the North of France with my grandfather, one partial in the South of France and another one annular this time in Spain! ^_^

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you French language, some Mandarin, how to play tennis, how to swim, how to ride scooter haha!! ^_^ I also can teach you how to cook crepes and others French pastries, cakes or any food ^_^
