First of all, I really think that the best way to learn about a place, is to talk with someone who's living there.
So when I'm travelling I'm always searching for someone that could help with some piece of advice and tips.
And on the other hand, it's great to share what you know with someone who needs it.
Secondly, to meet new people is always an opportunity to make really good friends.
