Playing chess all around the world
I'm currently a Research Fellow in computer sciences and statistics in Singapore, I love to spend time with friends, meet people, play games (especially chess and backgammon but I am open-minded to any other kind), talk about travels, literature, politics, philosophy.
"L'homme est né libre et partout il est dans les fers."
"Nous n'héritons pas de la terre de nos parents, nous l'empruntons à nos enfants." Two sentences that I particularly like. I try to remember them all the time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am a casual couchsurfer. One of my friends, Bastien, enjoy it a lot and encouraged me to register. My first experiences in San Francisco and New York were very great. I hope to be as lucky in the future and to welcome people in my cosy place!
I like to meet interesting people, to talk and share with them. But, sometimes, I really enjoy to be alone for reading, walking, thinking. In my free time, I love playing games, especially chess and backgammon. I am also learning various languages.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Nights to the lake Baïkal, sunrise to the mount Fuji, floating on the dead sea... But I think that the most amazing moments in my life are the time spent with people met during my trips. I will always remember the hospitality of Fuad, a jordan worker who hosted me in his house with his family several times in 2007.
