Hello all, I am Alice, cyclist from Hong Kong on a bike-touring trip to France with my dog Canton adopted in China. We have successfully crossed 9 land borders: China-Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan-Tajikistan-Uzbekistan-Tajikistan-Turkmenistan-Iran-Iraq-Kurdistan-Turkey. Our next destination is the Balkans countries (still haven't decided which route to take at this moment, any suggestions are welcomed!), and we are so close to our final destination-France!!! HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I learnt about this from a guy I met when I was backpacking in Germany.

MY FIRST COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a random Nepalese guy when I was searching for a hostel in Freiburg, Germany. Then he told me that he is actually a CS host and could host me here! He invited me to join his organisation's event (a Nepal organization fundraising to help subsidise the nepalese kids to study overseas), met with his friends, showed me around the city, brought me to do hiking in the Black Forest. It was a pleasant and unforgettable experience and we are still keeping in touch! :)
