Baby-boomer who was born a couple years too late. Politically and socially conservative, but always open to learning from others' points of views.

PHILOSOPHY

There is no such thing as luck. You make your own way in life by being prepared when an opportunity comes your way.
You have choices to be happy or not. I choose happy.
If you want something, ask for it. Someone is going to get it, so why not you?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've fallen asleep on mine at home.
I moved a couch into my office at grad school and slept on it for 5 months while my family was living 900 miles away.
Stayed with one CS host...will definitely do it again!

Intereses

Photography, theatre, bicycling, motorcycling, ....figuring out what to do with this PhD now that I've retired from the Air Force.

In the process of moving to a new home that will be accessible to the Ohio network of Rail Trails. I hope to host cyclists as they transit and explore the area.
