I spent much of my life travelling, living and working in numerous countries before I got "married" to my work.
I chose to find a better work/life balance now and live a peaceful, quiet life today.
I am an introvert that can get passionate about topics when I am comfortable with those I am around.
I am sober, clean and do not gamble. I've been there, done them enough in what seems like another life!
I slowed down and I am doing less which gives me more serenity and happiness with a simpler life.
Some of these changes and massive reduction in stress have allowed over 60 pounds (about 30kg) to fall off naturally which is about 10 inches (20 cms) from my waist.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am interested in learning something new each day from people from around the world.
I am also interested in trying some new experiences and couchsurfing is an experience on my list!
I want to start to travel again and try to do a little good when I can.
If I can couch surf instead of paying for rent/hotels/motels it means I am able to use the funds I save to do more good. As a bonus I meet some amazing people where ever I am.

One of my heros once said something like "Music was the closest thing to God he understood in his youth".
I felt the same way when I was younger.

A general rule I like to follow (when allowed) is "The cook does not clean" so I enjoy doing dishes and clean up.
I am decent with prep work too if we are sharing a meal :)
