ABOUT ME

After a bad break up and a difficult year of working in Iraq, I have found myself a little lost and jaded.

So what better way to bring back perspective and self-confidence than a 6 month backpacking trip meeting new people, experiencing different cultures, and drinking as many domestic beers as I can! Woo hoo!

Right now I am surfing, but as soon as I settle down and I can't wait to start paying it forward and being a host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was interested in doing this after a couple of friends reported having great experiences! I figured a backpacking trip through Australia and Asia would be a great time to try it out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hands down! Seeing my best friend give birth to my godson. I've lived in Iraq, trekked Tibet, rafted off waterfalls, and have been to Burning Man 5 times, but being able to witness the beginning of a life is something I will hold with me forever.

I've got a background in art direction and graphic design, so I guess if anyone wants to learn some stuff on photoshop or illustrator I'm more than willing to teach ya!
