ABOUT ME

I was born in Iceland and raised on the East Coast of the U.S. This mind was interested in psychology but LIFE decided to switch this heart to spirituality by bringing me to India. There I took my now legal name when I was 30. My passion is connecting with people. I live my life on the island of Maui in Hawaii these last 32 years.

LIFE has been unfolding during all these years meeting people and going to places I never would have envisioned ........all great. The nudge comes and I book the ticket wondering what journeys await me. Trust is my companion.

PHILOSOPHY

Acceptance of what LIFE offers brings peace to one's inner being. Resistance brings suffering.

I love the concept of Couchsurfing as it brings together people of the world....
a connection to people who are interested in other people. There is a delight to meet one another even if it is only taking a moment to read each others profile!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Once in Singapore a kind woman invited me to her flat and brought me along the next day to join her in her daily life. I saw Singapore through the eyes of a US citizen who lived in Singapore and enjoyed it....... we went to join other couch surfers from all over the world that night at a meet up.

Another time I stayed with a woman from China while waiting for an overnight flight to go to Delhi. This experience blew some unconscious belief systems .....and once again confirmed the there is no separation except in the mind.

I was in Northern India and suddenly needed a space..... someone from coach surfing stepped up to offer me a place..... he and his family were very interesting. We made a connection to visit together for the next year tas I had found an air bnb a few minutes before he responded back.

My experiences traveling keep making the world a safe place to live as our true nature is to love and care.

LIFE brought me to the shamans in the Amazon, to the Spiritual Gurus in India, to the Psychic Surgeons in the Philippines, to the Tibetans in Tibet, to the Buddhists in Nepal, to the Wailing Wall in Israel AND TO YOU.

I enjoy just being with others and seeing what shows up. When traveling I seem to end up being friends with much younger people who share the same interests.
