Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A very good friend whose couch (a carpet, to be exact...haha) I surfed for a long time...very long time recommended me to join one of CS's gathering in Karimunjawa Island and it was awesome!

I may not be able to host anyone at my place but I am more than happy to show people around the place I currently live in, to join gatherings, to answer questions, to help to look for info, to help organize events...

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen to Nirvana and Creed for the western side of me :-) and Indonesia's Iwan Fals and Pas Band...it's kind of a lifetime commitment...more immortal than marriage :-) I like Rihanna and Bee Gees, too.

I am now crazy with 2raumwohnung and Pink.

A friend says that I have strange mix of taste in music but what you could do when you listen to a song and suddenly in love with it....with a song...or a Band regardless its 'type' of music....:-)

I read lots of books, like four to five books per month. My favorites are Shantaram, The Kite Runner and a Thousand Splendid Suns, a Fine Balance, the Glass Palace, Harry Potter, Education Denied by Katarina Tomasevski. I have just read the complete series of these vegetarian vampires, Twilite etc and I don't like Isabella Swan. Maybe I am just jealous...hahaha :-)

I rarely keep the books, I give them away to friends (or trade), and let it surf another couch :-)

Currently, I am reading "The Birth Place" by Ami McKay. I am also in a constant look for Giovanni Papini's book called Gog. It was published in 1931. Can you help?

Movies. I could never answer to a question of 'favorite movies'. I don't have any. Each and every movie is different. But I hate horror movies. I went once to a cinema to watch a horror movie and I regretted to have paid 25.000 rupiah only to get a nightmare afterward...hahaha.
