Overview
About Me
I have been married to the lovely Cruz since 2010. We travel together and alone. Beginning March, 2017 we will be traveling together to parts unknown for a year. We hope to do a little Couch Surfing along the way and make some new friends.
I have had a love of the wild and uncivilized places on the planet as long as I can remember. I like to be where few go. BUT, I also have a great love of people. My life has been greatly enriched by the wonderful individuals I meet in my wanderings. Happiness has nothing to do with "belongings", it has to do with "belonging", friends, family, community....and of course lots of room to breath.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love experiencing cultures different from my own, including those in my own country. For me, there is no greater sense of satisfaction then establishing a connection with someone from another culture when we have no common language. Being a guest in someone's home greatly enhances the opportunity for our two cultures to more readily connect.
