I have recently relocated to the USA. Living in dallas,Tx now! First time living here. so looking forward to making great new connections, and any tips of pieces of help woul dbe much appreciated!
Initally, I was on here because I actually enjoy helping people have a memorable time in the city I live in, and personally, when I travel- i love to hang with locals to really get the feel of a place... but in the mean time, i'm Just hangin really.. working hard and traveling whenever I get the chance. Chance meaning, time away from work!

I work/play/study within the creative industry-
currently work for Converse (the sneaker brand)- managing all their visual communication and branding for the region, but in general I do communication and consultancy for the creative industry. Graphic design and social media content management included.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I dont mind helping but I personally never surfed or crashed at someone's house... so Never had a proper couch surfing experience. Nor hosted nor been a host but I meet a lot of surfers along the way.. and in general I love to share tips and experiences. The best way to visit a new country/city is to hang with the locals so sharing my knowledge of whatever can be beautiful, fun, tasty or whatever is crucial..

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

- co-organized the first tattoo fesitival in the Middle East (Lebanon)
- Built a huuuuuuge skull for Converse, the sneaker brand, made out of over 200 pairs of sneakers. That was a major challenge that i was not even allowed to say no to!
- Finally won the green card lottery after wanting to live in the U.S.A my whole life and just picked up and left my comfort zone, my super fun life, my amazingly loving friends and family, all my favorite sneakers (yes, I collect) and sadly also my dog, to move to an unknown state/city, where I know NOBODY, on the other side of the globe...

Wow! My experiences and interests are super diversified.. But To name a few,
Can teach you some of the 4 languages I speak, cook certain dishes, teach you about the MiddleEastern culture and different aspects of it, teach you about other cultures I am familiar with as well,
Share- I have quite A lot to share.. From music to whatever info you may need such as where to eat or where to find a good party (simple examples) - I can also share my friendly social circles who would also take care of you when I am not around,
Learn.. LEarn? I could keep learning, studying, reading, researching 24/7- I love LOVE learning new things, new skills, and am open to anything. For example, would love to learn how to fly a plane, or languages such as Japanese, German and Spanish.. or how to play the flamenco guitar perfectly ( i had taken 8 years of classical guitar lessons yet I havn't played in over a decade!)
