Overview
About Me
Hello! I am d ( they/them) and I look forward to meeting you. I am a queer artist currently based out of Toronto. I primarily work as a tattoo artist and a drag performer/ model. I also bake professionally when necessary lol, primarily vegan baking. I’m into zine-making, comics, street art, queer photography and fashion, and print-making. I love gardening, cycling, dancing, exploring and memes. I’m sober but no issues around alcohol or substances.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
CS has been the one online community that has really become a cherished part of my life. I think it is a truly lovely initiative and I have made some lovely long-term (and short-term too, that's still cool) friends through both hosting and being hosted. In my community home in Toronto we hosted numerous guests over my 6 years there and I have also surfed myself in Canada, the US, England, France, and Germany. I think it fits perfectly with hitch-hiking and WWOOFing. I took a small break from Couchsurfing the past few years but looking forward to getting immersed in the community once again. I currently do a lot of pet sitting and housesitting, sometimes through the app Tusted Housesitters.
Interests
I love alt drag, fashion, and all things DIY. I’m interested in community and building a world based off ethics of care and reciprocity. Passionate about accountability and trauma informed care. Into yoga and meditation and try to practice daily. I am an experienced life drawing model and have run sessions at my studio in the past. Always down for an adventure.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love punk and anything heavy, but my bread and butter is dad rock. I produce and host a dad rock drag king night in Toronto called daddy issues. I used to play bass in a shitty cover band. I love horror movies, the campier the better. My favourite director is Cronenburg. Currently reading Deidre Fay’s “Becoming Safely Embodied”.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Honestly I’m just so grateful to exist in this crazy world and meet so many lovely and fascinating people.
